Snack Free Kindergarten
The RRCSD has all students’ needs at heart. At times it is necessary for us to develop procedures to protect our students as we provide them access to education. One such procedure implemented by a team of people was to eliminate snack from our kindergarten program. These prevention strategies were necessary in order to care for our students with chronic health conditions. We will continue to evaluate our procedures in an effort to balance the needs and safety of all of our students. In the meantime, we ask that if your child has a condition where he or she must eat while at school that you contact the principal at norman.jennifer@rrcs.org so accommodations can be made.

Lake Rd. / Phase 2 Construction Project
The Ohio Department of Transportation, the City of Rocky River, the Rocky River Police Department and the Rocky River City School District have been working together to prepare for the upcoming Lake Road / Phase 2 construction project.  Traffic on Detroit Rd. may increase due to the detour, so parents and students are encouraged to allow extra time in case the trip to school takes longer than usual. Parents are also asked to remind students of safety guidelines when driving, riding or walking to school.  Students should only cross the road where there is a crossing guard on duty.
